Master A. Glenn Fox

Glenn Fox began training in the Korean Martial-Art of TaeKwon-Do on May 1st, 1985, at the age of 14.  He joined the Camrose School of TaeKwon-Do under instructor Scott Kopperud in Camrose, Alberta, Canada.  When Glenn was finishing his 12th year of school he tested for his 1st Dan (degree) Black-Belt.  He opened his first school that next year with friend and fellow Black-Belt Roger Mah at Camrose Lutheran College.  One year later he started two more schools in Stettler and New Sarepta.

In 1989 Scott Kopperud founded Unified TaeKwon-Do International with Glenn as an inaugural member.  In 1991 Kopperud moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, with Glenn buying the Camrose School which he has grown into a full time business operating 6 days a week.  Fox TaeKwon-Do Schools has since grown to 11 schools in central Alberta with more than 500 students.

Glenn was named Alberta Representative for UTI in 1991 and later promoted to Vice President of Technical Development in 1999.  Along side President Kopperud, Glenn has been at the forefront of TaeKwon-Do’s evolution with the development of UTI’s curriculum with the final piece of the legacy being completed later this year.

Competitively Glenn has been the Canadian Heavy Weight Sparring Champion and Canadian Black-Belt Forms Champion.  He represented Canada on the international scene as two times World Forms Champion.  He was also Team Canada Coach for the World Championships in Eindhoven, Netherlands in 2000 and in Miami, Florida in 2002 placing members on the podium both times.

In 2005 Glenn Fox was inducted into the US Martial Arts Hall of Fame. On May 6, 2006 Glenn tested for his 6th Dan.  With an incredible demo he received his Master certification at the annual UTI tournament. (Click on the camera to see pictures)

In November of 2006 Tanya gave birth to their first child, Owen Andrew Fox. (Picture shown below under Tanya Fox bio.)

On May 19, 2007 Glenn and Tanya were married at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Camrose, Alberta.

Cathy Morrow

My name is Cathy Morrow and I am a 2nd Dan Black-Belt.  I've been married to my husband Ron for 26.5 years now and we have six children of varying ages with the youngest being ten years old.  We've lived in Camrose, Alberta for 25 of those ears and attend Century Meadows Baptists Church.  I enjoy many different crafting projects, outdoor activities and various sport activities such as biking and of course TaeKwon-Do.

I have been in TaeKwon-Do for 7.5 years; 4 of those as a black-belt instructor.  I began my TaeKwon-Do training as a mature adult and obtained my 1st Dan Black-Belt in 3.5 years and my 2nd Dan Black-Belt two years after that.  I initially joined TaeKwon-Do to gain knowledge in self-defense and to get out of the house.  Since then, I enjoy all aspects of the TaeKwon-Do curriculum and have had various children of mine in and out of TaeKwon-Do; with one attaining her 1st Dan Black-Belt and another close to achieving Black-Belt ranking.  I am very proud of all my children and their accomplishments as they are of mine.  I am also privileged to have trained under Master Fox all of these years and had the opportunity to learn from and to instruct students of all age levels.  I am very proud of all the students in TaeKwon-Do for their dedication to mastering the martial art in all aspects of the program and their lives.  Well done and keep up the good work.
